The (8) Montreal Carabins upset the (1) UBC Thunderbirds in a three-round shootout to advance to the U Sports Semi-Final Round.  This is the first time the teams have met this season, playing in different conferences, creating an unfamiliar environment. The Ohio State are the 2026 WCHA Champions after a comeback win against the reigning Wisconsin Badgers.  In a much anticipated rematch the teams delivered a thriller, with the goaltenders on display shutting out the first two periods. The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks are taking the OUA by storm after winning the play-in game against the Nipissing Lakers the Ridgebacks advanced to the Quarterfinals. In their first game of the Quarterfinal round the Ridgebacks took a big 4-2 win over the Queen’s Gaels.
