Meet the Prospects: Kaitlyn McKenna

Kaitlyn McKenna from the Guelph Gryphons has declared for the 2026 PWHL Entry Draft.

This season, the Bolton, ON native, has been a standout for the Gryphons excelling in transition, picking up pucks in the neutral zone, and keeping opposing teams from the offensive zone.

In the playoffs, McKenna found the game-winning goal on a rush that punched the Gryphons ticket to the OUA Final, where they won the McCaw Cup for the eighth time in program history, their first since the 2018-19 season. McKenna finished the season with 7 goals and 8 assists, her career best in the OUA.

Before joining the Guelph Gryphons in her Masters program, McKenna played with the University of Toronto Blues where she finished with 13 goals and 26 assists in 119 games, making three U Sports Tournament appearances, where the Blues walked away with Bronze in the 2025 Tournament and Silver in the 2024 Tournament.
