Meghan Agosta Declares for 2026 Draft

The PWHL has officially released their 2026 Draft Eligibility List.

Among lots of young talent stands out a Canadian veteran, Meghan Agosta, a three-time Olympic Gold Medalist (2006, 2010, 2014).

Agosta announced her retirement from hockey 2024, but an expansion to Vancouver where she's serving as a police officer, got the wheels spinning for a return as she was a part of their official announcement last year.

With a stacked draft class, the veteran may fall through the cracks; however, she would then be eligible as a free agent. With lots of young talent around the league and further expansion, veteran leadership could make all the difference.
