The PWHL Takeover Tour comes to a close tonight in Edmonton as the Vancouver Goldeneyes take on the Boston Fleet.

The Fleet were the first team to anchor in their playoff spot, doing it in record timing clinching in just 24 games. Well the Vancouver Goldeneyes are still on the hunt, approaching must win territory if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.

With the Fleet sailing in off the tails off a four game-winning streak, that includes three shutouts, but this time around they will be without Head Coach, Kris Sparre, as his wife welcomed the newest edition to the Fleet family. Well the Goldeneyes enter looking to break their two game loss streak as Emerance Maschmeyer returns home to Alberta.

The last time the Goldeneyes were in Edmonton, they took on the Minnesota Frost in an overtime battle, falling just short of the win. This time around they’re looking for redemption against one of the strongest teams in the league.

Your players to watch tonight are Liz Schepers from the Boston Fleet and Mannon McMahon from the Vancouver Goldeneyes. Schepers is putting up a career best season and coming off back-to-back game winning goals. Well, McMahon has been on the doorstep creating opportunities for the Goldeneyes offence.

So far this season the Fleet are 3-1 against the Goldeneyes, who have continued to struggle on the road, however, have found success on the Takeover Tour winning in Detroit and Denver. Will the Goldeneyes keep their Takeover Tour streak alive? Or will the Boston Fleet lock them out? Tune in tonight at 9:30 PM EST to find out.
